Independence Day celebration celebrated cheerfully at PP Reddy Old Age Home

Enthusiasm and zeal could be felt in the environment since early in the morning at PP Reddy Old Age Home in the early morning hours of 15th August 2015. Everyone was busy in the preparations for celebrating the glorious independence of India. Elderly members of the Old Age Home were busy in decorating the premises and helping the staff in making arrangements as per their capacity.

This year, the occasion was special because of a special reason. Students of local government school were invited for celebrating the Independence Day with senior citizens who experienced the tough times of the British Rule.
Mr. P P Reddy (Chairman, PP Reddy Trust) presided over the function. The ball started rolling with flag hoisting. After flag hoisting, the honorable chief guest was requested to address the gathering. He reminded the need of commitment and dedication towards the nation. He reiterated the need for national integration and communal harmony.

After the speech, it was the time for awarding and rewarding the star performers. Students of all standards who performed brilliantly in the academic and other areas were awarded cash prizes by Respected Mr. PP Reddy. It was a motivating moment for not only whose who were honored, but for everyone. The function was concluded after the national anthem.
